Don't wanna change planes on your trip?
This will hopefully answer all questions about Dubai and stopovers there. I've spent some extra time to make this in-depth film about what great adventures you can have between two flights if you connect here instead of going nonstop! All very informative and detailed and yet hopefully entertaining for my viewers.
If connecting in Dubai is one option, you better do that trip - and even take an extended stopover in Dubai by skipping the next possible connection. Explore this very special region, get some local flavors and new ideas about the world and cultures, modern life and traditions!
I had 22 hours from arrival to departure, to capture everything for this movie. (but I've known Dubai in-depth for years)
With only 5 hours stopover time you can get at least a coffee with local impressions outside the airport, in the old part of town.
In 12 hours you can see all attractions that are shown in this film:
Deira, Bur Dubai, Spice Souk, Gold Souk, Dubai Frame, Mall of the Emirates, Ski Dubai, Dubai Miracle Gardens, Dubai Marina, JBR Beach, Dubai Palm, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, and the Dubai Fountains.
If you have 18 hours or more, and a car, you should integrate Abu Dhabi into your stopover adventure! I'll be shortly adding a second part of this stopover episode, that shows what great sights in Abu Dhabi you can add on top of your visit to Dubai: Emirates Palace Hotel, Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Grand Mosque, which looks like from a fairytale from 1001 nights.
