Parliament’s committee on Physical Infrastructure has summoned officials from the Transport Ministry to explain reports that they are planning to hand over the issuance of driving permits to a private company, even with their contract with Face Technologies till valid until next year. According to the contract with Face Technologies, government plans to possess the service as a way of reduce the cost of obtaining a driving permit.
