We picked up this pipe from a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo parts car that was covered in rust and seemed unusable. Afterwards we gave it some thought and decided to give it a simple restoration. After it is all said and done this job took a couple of hours but the final product was worth every bit. Here is a little backstory and also some motivation to make your things look better when trying to sell them online.
We actually had no use for this specific cat delete pipe, so initially we just listed it on eBay and thought we could get rid of it easily. That was not the case, we received no messages for several weeks. We thought maybe it is just of no value to anybody, but my son had a great idea to give it a simple restoration (remove the rust and give it a new coat of paint). Turns out after we completed the restoration and listed it for sale, we received numerous messages within that same day. Just proves how looks can be deceiving. Moral of the story, make things look nice and people will pay for them.
