Five-star defensive tackle Maason Smith grew up an Alabama fan and recently, our staff caught up with him at the New Orleans Camp to talk recruiting. Smith tells us he's being recruited by new defensive line coach Freddie Roach and also told us that he really enjoys Nick Saban's structure. LSU seems to be the early favorite, but Alabama has proven to keep the state of Louisiana as a strong recruiting pipeline over the years.
