Variation 18 - Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini - Rachmaninov

This is part of a project I started last winter where I decided that I'd try to record each variation from Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Originally I was going for a variation a day till Christmas, but I didn't have regular access to a piano, so now I'm just going to post when I can until I get to all 24 variations! Since I had some days of vacation, I finally got around to learning Variation 18---one of the most famous of the variations. It still need work, especially with the chord passages sounding more natural and clean, but I'm pretty happy with it as a first effort.

(I also found a temporary solution to hair constantly falling into my face ever since my haircut---playing piano with a beanie/touk!)
