Indian Railways, Jio To Revamp Infrastructure For Steady Network

Indian Railways, on Monday (December 23), announced that it is in talks with Reliance Jio Infocomm to revamp the exiting signal tower (900 towers) infrastructure, along a 67,368 Km railway tracks, into a seamless mobile and internet connectivity for passengers.

The proposed network connectivity project is expected to cover Renigunta-Yerraguntal in the South Central Railway (165 Km), Vizianagaram-Palasa on the East Cost Railway (145 Km), Jhansi-Bina on the North Central Railway (155 Km) and Nagpur-Badnera on Central Railway (175 Km).
