Hey everyone! It almost time for closing and we are really excited! Before we close we must go through an orientation of the house, also known as a walk through, to identify if all appliances are working and if there are any major damages to the house; especially the foundation. We take time to go through the house and we are really pleased with the final product of the house. Make sure no matter how small something may seem to mention it in your walkthrough as this is the house you are paying for and if it is a new build - the house should be close to perfect. After leaving our house inspection we decide to go furniture window shopping as the big house needs to be filled. We decide to stop at a few appliance and furniture stores. Reminder to all new home buyers - do not buy anything while you are waiting to close; especially if you are using credit. You do not want to alter your debt to income ratio. Just eye ball and window shop away until it is time to purchase.
