Fundamentals are robust: Nirmala Sitharaman on Moody's India Rating

The Finance Ministry has responded to Moody's change in India outlook to negative from stable by saying that India continues to be one of the fastest growing major economies and it's relative standing remains unaffected.

It also said that the government took proactive policy steps in response to the global slowdown that will lead to a positive outlook on India and attract capital flows.

The Finance Ministry said the fundamentals of India's economy remain robust and inflation is under check.
