Gist Nigeria tells the story of a 28-year-old Nigerian university graduate Chigbo Anyigor. He had a 2:1 grade but now hawks face masks and safety vests on third mainland bridge in Lagos, the country's commercial capital.
Chigbo is now one of the 18 million Nigerians who are underemployed. The Nigerian government says it is aware and its n-power scheme has so far helped train over 200,000 individuals.
Gist Nigeria is a 30-minute current affairs programme, co-produced by Channels Television and the BBC. The program offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience.
