Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is updating the public on state operations to prepare for Hurricane Dorian, which is heading toward the state. Speaking at the State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee, DeSantis urged Florida residents to have a week's worth of food and water and be prepared to lose power. DeSantis said local emergency management organizations will make evacuation decisions soon.
