Gear failures happen, I've talked about them in the past. But I've also said that it's all about how the company stands behind their product. So far I have not been super impressed with the customer service I've seen with MSR. They do make some great products, but when something fails, I would expect such a large company to be able to show the consumer who bought their product over many others on the market, a little more support.
We'll see how this process shapes up, how they respond to the warranty claim and go from there.
