Left Parties and Congress organised peace rally in Barrackpore for peace. Left front and Congress leaders, including Somen Mitra Biman Bose ,Suryakanta Mishra ,Naren Chatterjee,and other leaders and supporters participated in the rally.Banner for peace was displayed but there were no political flags or banners seen in the peace rally . The President of the state Congress Somen Mitra claimed from the peace rally that the Left parties and Congress will be on the road for the benefit of the people.
