Hello viewers, a chandelier is a branched ornamental light fixture designed to be mounted on ceilings or walls. They are usually highly decorated with incandescent light bulbs.

Chandeliers were used in abbeys and medieval churches to light up large rooms and halls. Chandelier pendalogues are cut into different shapes and sizes make a place added with a chandelier to look great.

Today, we are going to learn about the different types of chandeliers and their features.

1.A crystal chandelier when lighted up, fills a room with dancing lights and bring elegance in a room. It's designed in such a way that it's pendalogues keep glittering whether its switched on or off. Crystal Chandeliers come in all sizes with different prices. For a classic style, you may have to get one which has wood or iron on it. A crystal chandelier gives off more color than a glass chandelier

2.Traditional chandeliers:
During the Victoria period, chandeliers where a source of light. They hold from a few to dozens of electric candles. The lights are personalized into different shapes, styles and sizes to create different fashions. Modern chandeliers have large thick electric candles while traditional ones have small long candles hanged on classic swan-like frames of iron or brass. 3.Bowl chandeliers:

They are designed in many styles such as glass, acrylic or ceramic. They are often hanged above dinning tables. Their soft diffused light make meals look warm and eye comforting. Large bowl chandeliers look good over piano sets, master bed rooms and bistro.

4.Drum chandeliers:
They are usually shaped with paper, cloth or plastic instead of glass. They usually have light inside a cylindrical drum like shape. They are usually used in wide open places such as shopping malls, restaurants, they also look good in large kitchens, living rooms or places that require striking features and optimal light. Three optimal lights in a billiards table or basement bar is a good idea especially when the light is deemed or tinted.

5.Linear chandeliers or island chandeliers :
These have several lights on rectangular or oval shaped frames, designed for the kitchen island or dinning table. They look good in open concept living spaces because of ample light they provide and ability to sweep a large area with interesting sculptural style. There are different styles such as French country, sleek and minimalist mid-century. A custom linear chandelier can be obtained but considering that it matches the contrast or holstrey.

6.Lantern chandeliers: this is a classic chandelier style where it's frame has one or many lanterns. They bring back memories of the times when most shops and streets where lit with gas or oil instead of electricity. These are customized in all sizes and styles to fit different spaces. A brass chandelier in front of a rooms door area creates elegance when you enter and exit the house. A painted metal or distressed wood chandelier adds charm to a covered porch or office. It provides a lot of light for parties and late night works.

7.Globe and orb chandeliers: sphere chandelier filled with warm glowing light makes a room look beautiful. They provide a glow of light near a paper wall or near the fire place or above a flower arrangement. The globe may be made of glass acrylic, fabric, paper or metal mesh. A blue tinted recycled globe in a master bath or patio. A clear glass globe in an office or hallway. A trio or warm yellow in a kitchen, a large paper globe in a babies nursery is a wonderful idea.

8.Starburst and sputnik chandeliers: the retro style enhances quirky or vintage spaces and is usually suited to mid-century and modernism. It is usually a striking sculptural hybrid of globes and shooting spikes of various sizes with the light source tucked into the center and distributed out and around the end points. The star-like shapes of starburst chandeliers make them perfect for offices, lounge spaces and entry points of your home. They attract many people in a home once used.
