A Pantsir-S1 system belonging to the Syrian Air Defense Force was destroyed by the Israel Defense Forces during the May 2018 Israel-Syria clashes. On 21 January 2019, an Israeli air force attack destroyed two Pantsir-S1 systems.
On 28 February 2020 during Turkish strikes against Syria, Turkey claimed it has destroyed a Syrian Pantsir-S1 system by a drone strike, and released a video footage of destruction of the system.
On 3 March 2020 Turkish armed UAV's (TAI Anka) destroyed another Pantsir S1(SA-22) air defense system in Saraqip. Footage of the Pantsir S1 released by the ministry of defense.
