Fernandes, VAR rescue point for Man United after De Gea howler Bruno Fernandes rescued a point for Manchester United after a terrible mistake from David De Gea in a 1-1 draw against Everton on Sunday.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin made the most of the De Gea howler but Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made a mistake for the Fernandes equaliser as United failed to close the gap on fourth placed Chelsea.
Calvert-Lewin thought he had won the game late on but VAR ruled out the goal in controversial fashion.
Everton took the lead inside the first three minutes when De Gea took too much time on the ball and his clearance hit Calvert-Lewin and hit the back of the net.
