Over half of the production on my “Sacred Mantra” EP was handled by one person. Plus the entire project was recorded and engineered by one person. This one person is Johann Sebastian.

I first heard of Johann Sebastian through the Behind The Breaks Hip Hop Producer Contest hosted by DJ Ambush. Later circa 2016 I met Johann at Silk City during a concert for Mr Green’s “Live From The Streets” album. Johann was performing with Truck North of The Roots & Money Making Jam Boys, as their duo of Django & Cash.

When I started working on “Sacred Mantra” he reached out to come through to his studio so he could play me beats. 1 turned into 2, and 2 turned into 4. I even wound up performing with Johann and Truck North at Tiny Room For Elephants in Philadelphia, PA.

Johann’s proactive approach to creating music is what gravitated me towards him. We have a mutual respect for eachother as men and artists, so neither one of us wants to make something we’re not proud of. It’s great working with someone who really wants the best of you. Very hard to come by.

This is the beginning, we have more work to do!
