Being told “you deserve someone better” can feel like a slap across the face. What the hell does it even mean? At first, it can leave you confused and hurt... But if you take the time to understand it, it actually makes a lot of sense. You DO deserve better.
Don’t let it beat you down. Don’t let it make you feel defeated. Don’t shut down love just because your ex shut you out. Love didn’t hurt you- someone who wasn’t capable of loving you did.
It’s gonna hurt like hell but I promise you, if you take the time to find the message in the mess of this breakup, you will find something amazing on the other side of this lesson.
