US President Donald Trump will “win in an even bigger landslide” if Hillary Clinton were to be the Democratic nominee to contest the next presidential election, according to former Liberal Senator Cory Bernardi. “I want Hillary to be the Democratic candidate for president, because that will guarantee she’s a three-time loser,” Mr Bernardi said.
“This woman was coined the phrase ‘crooked Hillary’ for a reason,” he said.
Fellow panelist, Editor-in-Chief of Stellar Magazine Sarrah Le Marquand, said she believed it is a “tragedy” Hillary Clinton is not going to be a candidate in the upcoming election.
Ms Le Marquand said Ms Clinton is “the single most qualified candidate in American history to run for office”.
“If the Democrats really want to retire Trump, there's only one person for the job and a repeat of the Trump-Hillary showdown would play out differently this time,” she said.
