STORM DENNIS | Aircraft Landing Wet Runway Gale Force Winds Plane Spotting Ryanair, FedEX, Jet2

Storm Dennis, another winter storm to hit Ireland and the UK was named by Met Eireann. The storm came just a week after Storm Ciara Yellow and Amber weather warnings were issued across most of the UK for gale-force winds and heavy rain. This aviation video captures aircraft as they land and depart London Stansted Airport during the Storm. Winds were gusting at over 45kts.
You will see many skilful approaches and landings and a variety of aircraft and airlines.

As you will appreciate, filming in such conditions is not easy and we always have to be mindful of safety, despite using a number of wind shields on the microphone the strength of the winds resulted in some difficult sound capture.
