Zinedine Zidane is confident that he has a competitive squad at his disposal already, and he's happy that they can compete on all fronts with the players at the club. Nobody will come in, barring an unexpected turn, but some may leave. The defender is already on loan in the Premier League but he wants to change his surroundings this winter. Eintracht Frankfurt are keen on bringing him back after he spent a successful spell there in 2016/17 and Wolfsburg are also interested. A number of Spanish sides are also keeping tabs on his situation. He could well leave Wolves this January, but everything depends on coach Nuno Espirito Santo. Brahim Diaz and Mariano Diaz are barely counted on by Zidane. The latter is the only player who has been fit all season yet to play a minute at Madrid and Brahim has played just 40 minutes across four games. Madrid are of the belief that the best thing for both is to leave to find more regular playing time.
