Prebuilt Gaming PCs In 2020: Are These Computers Worth The Expensive Prices?

Prebuilt Gaming PCs In 2020: Are These Computers Worth The Expensive Prices? Today I took another look at even more prebuilt PC options to determine specifically if there are any prebuilt PCs that are actually worth your money. What I seemed to find is that there are quit a few good gaming prebuilt pcs out there that are affordable with some decent specs, and that there are some very high end ones that actually come with very good parts. Those PCs though come from a company called Cyberpower PCs. Cyberpowerpcs is pretty well known, and it definitely seems to be for a good reason. The Creator PC they sell is $2100, which seems like a lot, but for under $3000 has amazing specs and looks cool. It has a 2080 super in it, and an I9 9900k, which compared to what we looked at last week with Digital Storm's Aventum X which is $3000 with a GTX 1650 in it, is amazing for the price. Of course not everyone has that much to spend, but luckily Cyberpower has some other good options for under $1000, including a few you can go to your local Best Buy and pick up. As for Alienware, not as much good can be said there. The Aurora prebuilt gaming PC they sell is very bad compared to anything you can build, which of course you will always be able to build a PC on your own for cheaper. But the PC itself uses some pretty bad specs. It only has 8 GB of ram, which is pretty bad for the price. But it also has a GTX 1650ti, with an I5 9400. A 9400, that is a very bad processor for the price it is since you can get a Ryzen 5 3600 for the exact same price and that processor is a lot better. Of course when buying a pre built gaming PC, you factor in the RGB and how much labor is, but even with that, you don't need RGB, you need good specs. You can save a lot of money either just dropping RGB, or building on your own, and save almost as much as $200 if not more depending on where you are originally looking. That may not seem like much at first, but that's an extra $200 to spend anywhere else. A better processor, a better graphics card, more Ram or storage. That money can go a long way, and you need to be smart buying a PC. But hey, if you don't have time or are getting something for a present of some kind whether it be a Birthday or Christmas, there are some good options out there. As for anyone looking for cheper options building your own PC, be sure to check eBay and r/hardwareswap for some of the cheapest PC Parts you will find. You can also check out local listings on the Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, but be careful meeting people and always do it safely.
