New Ather 450X | Faster and cheaper? | PowerDrift

Ather, the Bengaluru-based electric scooter maker, has decided to launch a significant upgrade to their first scooter, the 450. It is called the 450X and it features a brand-new battery pack, all-new electronics and a suite of new connectivity features, including 4G and Bluetooth. While the deliveries for the 450X are slated for July 2020, we got a chance to ride the scooter to get a sense of the new Warp Mode and the extra performance. Ather Energy is also announcing a new factory in Tamil Nadu, sales in eight new cities and a new subscription plan that unlocks performance and features. In addition to Bengaluru and Chennai, Ather intends to add Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad and is considering Coimbatore, Kochi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. All these should have Athers on sale by the end of 2020.
