Convicted rapist arrested after bodies of two women found in cupboard A convicted rapist been detained after the gruesome murder of two teenagers whose bodies were found in a cupboard of a holiday flat in Ukraine.  The bodies of Maria Kamynina, 16, and Eva Lysenko, 19, were tied to each other with adhesive tape in capital city Kyiv.  They had been stabbed to death, say police.  Police later detained suspects Serhiy Ksendzik, 34, and his “lover” Elezaveta Beshatska, 19, on arrival by train in Black Sea port Odessa.  Today it emerged that Ksendzik has multiple previous convictions for rape, according to reports citing law enforcement.  Police detained the pair, so far investigating them for murder and robbery, amid suggestions they were a Bonnie and Clyde couple.  The investigation is ongoing.  Ksendzik and Beshatska had rented the apartment over New Year in the historic old town of Kyiv, say reports.  The victims were last seen shopping in the in Dorogozhichi district before going missing.  Maria Kamynina was a Harry Potter fan, according to her social media.  Ksendzik is from Volyn region, and has served previous jail terms, say reports in Ukraine.  His alleged lover Beshatska is from Lipnyzhki village in the Kirovgrad region on Ukraine.  Ksendzik had sent a text message of his Kyiv landlady saying they would leave the Kyiv flat early.  The landlady then discovered the bodies and called police.  The suspects were detained after travelling two Odessa by train.  They have been passed to the investigating force in Kyiv.  Ksendzik and Beshatska face up to 15 years jail if convicted, say law enforcement sources.
