Automobile Dealers Association Treasurer, Parind Nachinolkar has stated that Goa Government has taken a bold move by reducing 50 percent road tax and that it has boosted the sale of vehicles. Speaking to media, Nachinolkar has informed that they have requested the State Government to extend the scheme till March 2020. Stating that the scheme has helped the Automobile dealers to clear BS4 stock, He has informed that some BS4 stock is still remaining. Nachinolkar has further rubbished the claims that Government has lost revenue due to reduction in tax. He has informed that there has been an 81 percent increase in 4-wheeler sales, 7 percent increase in road tax income and that GST collection has increased to 83 percent
