The Simplest Stairs - How To build 6x2 Jewson Staircase The Simplest Stairs - Making our workshop staircase out of 6x2 from the local timber merchant. Jewsons was our supplier for this project. I bought 8 timbers at 3600mm and over ordered slightly but was not too expensive in the grand scheme of things.

For your local Jewons:

Tools used: Makita 18v Jigsaw, Makita 18v Skilsaw, Festool OF2200 router, Trend profile cutter bearing follow router bit, Irwin Quick Clamps, Trestles, Startrite Bandsaw.

All of this can be done with corded and cordless tools, replace bandsaw with jigsaw. Router is essential to house the treads. If you would like to see a video about ow to confidently use a router, please leave a comment below.
