If the “second note” in your doubles isn’t happening on its own, you’re doing something wrong. The thing is, double stroke rolls are not that hard - especially if you let physics do its job. I’ll break this down for you, and we’ll watch some slow motion footage. We’ll learn how to let physics play that second note for you so that you can play doubles with half the effort. This is the only way to speed up a double stroke roll. I hope you enjoy! Make sure your loose, smooth grip is squared away before really tackling doubles.
