What are the effects of changing our constitution? Expropriation of land has been tried in other countries, it was tried in Zimbabwe and Venezuela. In Zimbabwe, it wasn't only the farmers who had land taken away from them, it was also all the people who worked the land that lost out. Zimbabwe now has over 90% unemployment. Venezuela has an economy in ruins with two and a half million people who've fled the country.
Is expropriation of land really the answer when previously, in South Africa, people chose the money over the land.
