Snake-Mimicking Caterpillar

Snake-Mimicking Caterpillar Excerpt:

The Spicebush Swallowtail Caterpillar is known to mimic and copy snake and all kinds. This worm resembles another worm brown in color and is found on the side of the leaves. After molting this turns green. It resembles the snake's head mimicry, with large spots on the swollen thorax giving the appearance of a snake's head. The spots look like eyes, even to the point of having a white "highlight" to simulate moisture.
