Radio received damaged due to packaging. Volume control is pushed inside the radio, damaging them. There's a "ganged" volume potentiometers or variable resistors inside. When the control arm is slammed, it pushes them off the circuit board and tears them wide open. I can tell when the control is impossible to turn. If I open it, it may be visible, I've seen them bent and split open before from poor packaging.
