Good old Castlevania... especially Super Castlevania IV is one of my all-time favorites (Symphony of the Night too, but Alucard doesn't use whips). The Vampire Killer would be amazing and extremely effective if it worked the same way in real life as it does in the games. Outside of a video game it's not quite so useful, although still impressive and badass. Chinese nine section whips and rope darts for instance can be quite intimidating in skilled hands. A very long chain whip, just like most flexible weapons, is difficult to use and dangerous to the wielder.
So in this video I experiment with it while talking about some of the advantages and disadvantages. At the end there are hilarious outtakes involving very angry squirrels (beware of Cute Poisoning)...
