A team of health workers has set up a pre-hospital and emergency centre with the aim of improving emergency medical services in the country. Pre-hospital emergency medicine focuses on caring for seriously ill or seriously injured patients before they reach hospital, and during emergency transfer to the hospital or between the facilities.
