In celebration of our 40th Anniversary in 2020, we're sharing stories of how this race has impacted participants' lives over the years. Meet veteran Escapees, Scott Cathcart and Team Titan, bonded by a tradition of voyaging to and completing the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon year after year, they bring perseverance, determination, and the spirit of ESCAPE to each race. Most of all, they share an understanding that it's not about their finish times, but enjoying the time with new and familiar faces, honoring their unique journeys, and inspiring family and friends along the way.
