A Homestead Thanksgiving | Preserving Leftovers

A Homestead Thanksgiving | Preserving Leftovers Thanksgiving 2019 didn't go exactly as planned this year. Rachel came down with Singles about 3 days before the "big day". Since we were hosting dinner at our homestead this year, this meant we had to do a lot of cooking the day before to conserve her energy - which in the end all turned out perfectly fine and everything was absolutely wonderful. It's a great feeling knowing that almost everything you serve your family for dinner, was grown / raised right on your homestead. With a few exceptions of course. Most of the footage from this video, was filmed by our exchange student Lihn Dan - who is from Vietnam, and she's never celebrated an American Thanksgiving before. So it was really fun to share the experience and our family with her.
