I have been needing a bigger clamp rack for a long time. I’ve been accumulating clamps for over 30 years, and even parallel clamps for almost 20 years. Each time I get a few more, I just build something else small to put them on. A Patreon supporter had asked to see the building of a clamp rack, and that motivated us to finally put one together.
This is a fairly straightforward project once all of the calculations were done and the plans were created. The spacing and sizing of each thing is important to make sure that it fits various types of parallel clamps and pipe clamps. If you are like me you start with pipe clamps because of the cost and eventually work up to getting some parallel clamps. This design fits both. As well fitting a variety of F-Style bar clamps and squeeze / quick grip clamps.
I think in all this project will hold about 120 clamps. Many more if you choose to attach spring clamps can c-clamps to the sides & shelves. Plus there is a good amount of shelf storage as well.
