This is the PROBLEM with how Chinese people think

Today I met a Chinese man on a Melbourne street who told me he supports the Chinese government and the Hong Kong people.

The man blamed #America for the Hong Kong protests stating it's "just a few bad people being controlled by the United States". When I explained that I had witnessed the rally of 2 million people, he answered: "that's just what they showed you".

After discussing #HongKong, #Communism, #China and the United States, I asked him about #TiananmenSquare – suddenly he had to leave.
