Baron wakes up on the bouncy branch and the New Female on the branch above the nest. As it starts to get light out, Baron vocalizes and she joins in with her voice. She comes closer to him and flies to Dad's branch and perches. They have a 2nd set of duet vocals - seen from nest cam, cam 3 and 5. Baron will fly off to the left and she will follow him. There has been no further information on Baroness but several of the locals and bird experts in the Smola area have been told of her disappearance and will be looking for her. We are all saddened to not see her return to the nest with Baron to start their new season together. It is always so difficult when one of the eagles goes missing and a new eagle takes their place. It is unknown if this female will be the new lady on the nest but Baron has accepted her. However, our hearts are still with the Baroness. Thank you for watching!
