QUESTION: HIGH FASHION AND LOUIS VUITTON

QUESTION: HIGH FASHION AND LOUIS VUITTON In his book Physics of The Future, Michio Kaku presents the argument for the emergence of a planetary culture, based on youth culture (which is mainly driven by hip hop), movies (Hollywood blockbusters and massive smashes like Game of Thrones), high fashion (luxury goods), and food (with mass-market fast-food chains).

In this video I wanted to talk briefly about the world of fashion and in my opinion an overlooked billionaire in this space.

Now in the world of fashion, a handful of names are really extending their global reach.
High fashion was once reserved for the aristocracy and those with lots of wealth, however brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton for example are proliferating rapidly across the world as more and more people enter the middle classes and aspire to the 'glamour' that these brands claim to represent.

Check out the stock price of Louis Vuitton...

People seem to overlook the fact that Bernard Arnault is now 3rd on the 'official' Forbes list, with a current net worth of $106.7BN

In fact his net worth has surged by around $30BN since the start of 2019 because of the performance of Louis Vuitton's stock!
So, my question to you is: do you expect this trend (that's a bad pun...) to continue moving forwards?
