Canadian man under strict living conditions for 'fear of terrorism offence' CBC News has learned Ikar Mao is living in Ontario under strict conditions because of what a court document cites as a “fear of terrorism offense.” The Canadian man was previously detained for three months in Turkey with his wife on suspicion of terror-related activity. They were released without charge and returned home in October.
