Aaron is a body alignment expert and a manual therapist. He has made me rethink the way I sit, the way I stand and how I move through a room. In this episode, we begin to understand the importance of alignment, that when our bodies are aligned our thoughts and feelings become more aligned. He says, "your body, when it starts working with the field of gravity it begins to heal itself"- when you are literally standing properly, sitting correctly you can more create space in your body, energy can circulate, and you begin to feel better.
In this interview and in his book, "The Aligned Method", he shares that sitting on the ground can be extremely beneficial, that hanging for minutes a day can help improve posture and create more room in your spine. He explains how your environment can affect your physiology and gives tips on how you can achieve more peace and joy through alignment.
