Blizzard: A Sensible Solution for Flying in WoW Shadowlands

Many of us at BlizzCon asked about how flying would eventually work in WoW Shadowlands, the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft.
It was explained that the Pathfinder system would once again be used.
About a year out from the launch of Shadowlands, I figure now's the time to suggest an alternative idea that's more involved than just a meta achievement.
