What's Wrong With Ashe? - How Can We Make Her Overwatch League 'Viable' | Asking The Pros

Ever since Ashe was revealed as Overwatch's 29th hero and introduced into the game, she has never seen a period of widespread appeal among the playerbase despite the hype around her unique mid-long range style DPS kit and the game's first true "summon" style ultimate.

To this day, Ashe remains as one of the more underplayed heroes in Overwatch which begs the question of "why?"

Was it just unfortunate timing with her release so close to the advent of various metas and heroes coming into dominance from GOATS to Hackfist or is it more so due to something off about her overall kit and feel?

We had a chance to ask the Overwatch League pros for their thoughts on Ashe and what could be done to make her a more viable option in both regular and professional play.
