Rep. Jim Jordan, the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, said Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, has not told House members anything that supports the premise of their impeachment investigation against President Donald Trump. “Not one thing he has said comports with any of the Democrats’ impeachment narrative,” Rep. Jordan told reporters. Volker, who resigned from his position as the special envoy on Sept. 27, was mentioned in the whistleblower complaint that alleged wrongdoing by Trump when he asked Ukraine's president to investigate political rival Joe Biden and his family.
