Overcoming the Negativity Bias; How We Can Train Our Brain to Be More Positive. | Simplifying Life Our brains are most likely wired slightly for the negative. We tend to linger in low moods longer than we linger in good moods. This is called the negativity bias, and might have evolutionary reasons....

This "leaning" towards the negative can cause us to have trouble to feel better again once we feel "not so great". We have to put in more effort to lift our mood.

How can we "train" our brain to compensate for that, so that we feel better more often? Well, there are many. This video discusses some of the simple methods you can use to feel better, and feel better for longer.
