Crocodile Creek in the west Kimberleys Australia is one of the craziest anchorages we have ever sailed to! Up a creek past jagged rocks, sand bars, and a huge rusty ball of steel is a small deep hole underneath a waterfall. Its only accessible on high tide and when the water drains (up to 11 metres) you are land locked and tied up to the cliff face. We enjoyed sitting underneath a second waterfall on low tide and swam in the fresh pools up top! Not for the faint hearted to get up to this place, this is a real gem in the remote Australian lands!!
