There are many ways to make safety pins, Here is how to make Classic safety pins from wire. depending on the purpose, you can use big or small wire, Make small or large safety pins, add stones or not.
There are many ways to make safety pins, this is a how to make classic safety pins from copper wire.
With this safety pins , you can use it as an earring, add beads to make a pendant, combine with a chain to make bracelets, anklet, add motifs to brooches, or decorate. You can refer to many other uses on Google or Pinterest.
Depending on the purpose, you can make small or large safety pins , add stone beads or not.
You can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires.
From one motifs (applicable to most motifs), you can change the size, change some details to get a jewelry set.
With earrings, you should round one side with a metal file so that when worn, it will not scratch the ears
With a brooches, you should make sharp for easy piercing through the fabric

20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 10cm (4 inch)

TIPS :

I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time
