[1] What is Actualism and its principles and corollaries? What are some questions that help expound this philosophy? I will give extracts in this video but I hope you go to my post actuality journal philosophic construction. @
[2] Actualism is study of substances. Substances have both essence and act; and their activity altogether sums up actuality. Substance is what is (essence) and act is what substance does (activity).
[3] Principles of actualism are 1) activity belongs only to substance. And 2) what does not display activity is not any substantial. 3) Actuality – being all acts – is in all places; it is unbounded by place. 4) Every place is filled of activity -- or at least virtual activity. And 5) nonactivity is impossible. 6) Actuality though not one single substance is substantial.
[4] Some corollaries are: actuality is subsisting. To our concept of substance – if substance is matter and form then – no formless matter nor immaterial form like ghosts will be substantial. And if it is not substantial it is not actual.
[5] Some questions are 1) whether actuality is made of force. 2) Whether it is formal so as to be informative and intelligible. 3) Whether it is beautiful. 4) Whether it is deterministic.
[6] I have presented actualism in extract but I mean for you to see my post for answers to these questions and for my elaborations on this most critical topic.
