A Utah restaurant owner was captured on video spraying a fire extinguisher in the face of a smoker who he claimed was within 25 feet of his business.
In the video, restaurant owner Alex Jamison can be seen holding a fire extinguisher while he argued with two men (one of whom was smoking a cigarette) about whether they were standing within 25 feet of his business.
The man with whom Jamison primarily had been arguing puts a lit cigarette in his mouth and said: "Do it"
Jamison then angrily sprays the fire extinguisher in the man's face and steps back.
The smoker, identified as "Jon Bird" reported he's been experiencing shortness of breath and headaches resulting from the chemicals he inhaled.
Bird stated that he was at the Gallivan center volunteering at a local event and had stepped out to smoke cigarettes with other volunteers prior to being sprayed by Jamison.
The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating the incident.
