Mandatory evacuations ordered for multiple North Carolina coastal communities ahead of Dorian

New Hanover County officials have issued a mandatory evacuation order as of 8 a.m. Wednesday for Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Wrightsville Beach and Figure Eight Island in advance of Hurricane Dorian.
