New Delhi, Sep 04 (ANI): Indian National Congress (INC) spokesperson Manish Tewari took a potshot at NDA government over the current situation of Jammu and Kashmir situation after abrogation of article 370 in the state. He said that there has been a complete shutdown in the valley and it is in an undeclared emergency where civic right of the people is seized to exist. He defined Kashmir situation as a volcano which is waiting to explode “For the last one month there has been a complete shutdown in Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir is in undeclared emergency where civil rights have seized to exist. Kashmir is a volcano which is waiting to explode,” said Tewari. “Coercion, intimidation, retention has no other policy as to how to deal with this manmade disaster which they have created,” he added. The resolution was moved and passed first in the Rajya Sabha on August 05. Union Home Minister Amit Shah proposed the resolution in the house. Article 370 of the Indian Constitution gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. It had allowed the state to have a separate constitution, a state flag and autonomy over the internal administration of the state. --------------------------------------
