In this clip, Flavor Flav recounted a 1993 incident with his neighbor that resulted in him shooting at the man. Flav said that incident landed him on Rikers Island. At the same time, Flavor Flav was hosting a radio show on Hot 97 and he said that due to his star status, the C.O.s would allow him to call into the radio station and host his show from the jail.
Flavor Flav also detailed how he had a lot of freedom in jail and worked many of the jobs that allowed certain privileges. While working in the laundry room, Flav would pick up and deliver clothes to inmates and said that all the known snitches would have to wear oversized clothes to stamp them out.
